Summary

Consists of records documenting the first five years of the New York State Conservation Consultancy, an outgrowth of a program at the New York University Institute of Fine Arts coordinated by Konstanze Bachman, Paper Conservator at the Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum, and funded by grants from the New York State Council of the Arts. Materials include the original grant proposal, grant applications, grant reviews, annual reports, mailing lists, seminar information, program correspondence, lists of conservation surveys conducted by New York State Council of the Arts and New York State Conservation Consultancy, selected survey reports, bulletins, brochures, and publicity materials.
