Summary

Consists of records created by Lillian B. Miller, late Editor of the Charles Willson Peale Papers, and document her tenure as Editor from 1974-1997. The records document the planning and development of the Peale Papers Project, and related exhibitions, conferences, and events; and Miller's professional activities as a member, advisor, and officer on various Smithsonian Institution (SI) and non-SI committees, boards, and councils. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, minutes, notes, photographs, brochures, program proposals and plans, grant applications and proposals, speeches, reports, agenda, newspaper clippings and journal articles, and evaluations.
