Summary

Consists of records that document the curatorial, research, and administrative activities of Don E. Wilson, Director, Biodiversity Program (1990-2000). Records created prior to 1990 were accumulated by and tranferred with Wilson when he assumed the Directorship in 1990. Most of the early records document his activities while working as a mammalogist for the U. S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Bird and Mammal Laboratories located in the National Museum of Natural History. He specialized in the study of bats. Materials include incoming corrrespondence and a small portion of early outgoing chronologic files.
