Summary

Consists of records documenting exhibition planning, development and production in the Division of Extractive Industries and its predecessors, as well as the related sections of Chemical Industries and Agricultural Industries in the United States National Building. Earlier records date back to when the National Museum of History and Technology was known as the Museum of History and Technology. Staff represented include curators John T. Schlebecker and Phillip W. Bishop; associate curator Edward C. Kendall; consultant Carl A. Rishell; museum specialists G. Terry Sharrer and Abraham Richards; and museum technicians Robert G. Walther and Thomas R. Wessel. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, and notes; scripts; floor plans; news relseases, pamphlets; photographs and slides; illustrations; drawings; and supporting documentation.
