Consists of correspondence documenting contact between Aeronautics Department staff and other historians, museum professionals, aviation and military organizations, corporations, aviation consultants, government agencies, and the general public. Earlier correspondence dates back to when the Aeronautics Department was known as the Aeronautics Division and, prior to 1997, the Department of Aeronautics. Materials include correspondence, notes, reports, articles, visitor comment forms, photographs, memoranda, clippings, postcards, newsletters, and drawings. Some materials are in electronic format.
