Summary

Consists of records documenting administrative and financial activities of the divisions of the observatory and the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. Divisions include the Atomic and Molecular Physics, High Energy Astrophysics, Optical and Infrared, and Radio and Geoastronomy. Records were created primarily by John G. Gregory. A small amount of records were created by his predecessors, Carlton W. Tillinghast and Robert V. Bartnik. Materials include correspondence, memoranda, budget records, leases, reports, procedures, and notes.
