Summary

Consists of records documenting meetings of the Board of Regents. Materials include bound volumes of edited minutes (1846-1856), (1891-1968), [see Smithsonian Institution annual reports for published minutes (1876-1890)]; edited manuscripts of minutes (1968-1992, 2005-2006); various published minutes (1970-2024); one folder containing an index to the minutes (1907-1946); and supporting documentation such as schedule of activities, reports, proposals, strategic planning information, legislative updates, financial summaries, and policies. Some records are in electronic format.
