Summary

Consists of records documenting invertebrate collections under the Department's care, requests for information and publications, specimen identification, job inquiries, departmental administration, and curatorial and research activities. There are materials dated prior to 1965, when the Department of Zoology was divided to include vertebrate and invertebrate branches. Materials include incoming and outgoing correspondence, postcards, clippings, newsletters, charts, field notes, reports, brochures, photographs, slides, negatives, transparencies, scientific illustrations, and maps. Some materials are in electronic format.
