Summary

Consists of professional and administrative correspondence of members of the Division of Invertebrate Paleontology and Paleobotany. The material primarily includes the correspondence of G. Arthur Cooper, Associate Curator and Curator, 1942-1961, concerning professional matters, such as analysis and classification and loan of specimens, and administrative matters, such as personnel documents, budgeting requests, and public inquiries. Also included are manuscripts, notes and fossil lists created or maintained by Charles Elmer Resser. Records predating 1942 were created by the Department of Geology.
