What do you do?
I'm the Web Developer for the Smithsonian Institution Archives. I serve as part of the Digital Services Devision, and work to maintain our website and integrate new services into it to better serve the community.
Favorite spot in DC to recommend to visitors:
I've always been a huge fan of the Hall of Mammals at the Natural History Museum. I also love hanging around the salt water aquarium in the Sant Ocean Hall, also in the Natural History Museum. I also highly recommend the National Portrait Gallery.
Collection favorite:
My favorite (and one I often use during testing of site features) is an image of smokey the bear from the national zoo.
