Each week, sit back, relax, and challenge yourself to complete puzzles created from images in our collections that have been designated as open access. Anyone can now download, transform, share, and reuse these images as part of Smithsonian Open Access, launched in 2020.

Today’s puzzle features the Smithsonian Oceanographic Sorting Center in 1963 in Washington, D.C. The center was established in 1962 to assist the international oceanographic effort by processing biological and geological specimens for scientists throughout the world. The center was terminated in 1992.
