I'm running out of file space in my Smithsonian office. What do I do?
Responses
Records that are no longer being actively used can often be removed from the files and either transferred to the Archives or destroyed. The Archives also provides guidance in managing your active files. Once you've cleaned out your files, following this guidance may prevent files from accumulating as quickly. For additional assistance, contact your Archives liaison.
