Installation of Jim Dine's Exhibit at HMSG, by Stalsworth, Lee, February, 1985, Smithsonian Archives - History Div, On the plaza of the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, February 1985, one of the two hearts of Jim Dine's bronze work "Two Big Black Hearts" is being hoisted by workmen using ropes in preparation for its installation inside the museum. The hearts, which are encrusted with molds of hands, faces, axes, hammers and other tools, were completed for "Jim Dine: Five Themes" on view at the HMSG until April 28, 1985.
