This accession consists of records created and maintained by exhibition designer Buddy Speight documenting the planning and design of Smithsonian Institution exhibitions as well as traveling exhibitions produced by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES). SITES exhibitions documented include Divine Favor, Human Vows: Milagros from Puerto; Exhibition Flight; Korean Village in Transition: An Anthropological Field Trip; Odyssey: Mirror of the Mediterranean; Venini Glass; and Building a New World: Black Labor Photographs. Other exhibitions documented include American Icon: The Eighteenth Century Image of George Washington in Prints and Illustrations; Aspects of Color: Works on Paper from the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden; Kentucky Quilts, 1800-1900; and English Naive Paintings. Materials include drawings and specifications.
