Summary

Anthropology Exhibit in the National Museum of Natural History of a life group from the Arctic Region entitled "Polar Eskimo, the Northernmost People of the World." It forms part of the "Native Peoples of the Americas" exhibit. There are five individuals gathered around a sled with several sled dogs. In the foreground of the case there is a dead seal that one of the individuals has just trapped. The exhibit opened in 1957.
