Photograph of a silhouette portrait of Colonel Henry Louis Dickinson. Dickinson was the younger half-brother of James Smithson, founding donor of the Smithsonian Institution. The portrait was created by Jacob Spornberg on March 1, 1805, No. 5 Bond Street, Bath, England.
