Summary

In anticipation of the opening of the National Museum Building, now the Arts and Industries Building, the entire work force is reorganized. All employees are given specific letters of appointment, specifying their duties and responsibilities. A condition of appointment is that the incumbent refrain from making private collections in natural history of any kind whatsoever.
