Presentation of the bust of Alexander Graham Bell by the American Telephone and Telegraph Company at the annual meeting of the Board of Regents of the Smithsonian Institution on December 9, 1926. Bell was a long-term member of the Smithsonian Board of Regents. (l-r): Walter S. Gifford (President, American Telephone and Telegraph Company); Charles G. Dawes (Vice President of the United States and Regent of the Smithsonian Institution); Mrs. Gilbert H. Grosvenor (Daughter of Dr. Bell); Chief Justice William H.
