Summary

The Mane Restaurant, replacing one in use since 1908, is opened for business at the National Zoological Park. Linoleum murals depicting Noah's Ark, painted by artist Domenico Mortellito, cover the walls. The restaurant has an open terrace overlooking the series of four new waterfowl ponds.
