Smithsonian Institution Guard Force headquartered at the United States National Museum (USNM) storage area in Luray, Virginia, near Shenandoah National Park, during World War II. Pictured are (front, l-r): Lynn V. Black, Sr., Lester L. Judd, Harry L. Judd; (back, l-r): W.E. Batman, Dewey M. Weakley. The USNM collections were transferred to a storage facility for safekeeping during World War II.
