Postcard from Washington and Lee University, Lexington, Virginia, where United States National Museum collections were transferred for safekeeping during World War II. Postcard includes handwritten note indicating location of the library, and back of the card included this note: "Steel and concrete building with brick veneer. Tin roof. Storage space offered: Part of locked stack. Second floor."
