Summary

The Ethnology exhibit showing Asian culture in the West Hall of the Arts and Industries Building. In the center of the photograph is the Chinese gateways which stood at the entrance to the Chinese section of the 1876 Centennial Exhibition in Philadelphia, and were presented to the United States National Museum by the Imperial Commissioners. The photograph was taken from the Rotunda.
