Summary

Oils and watercolors from three expeditions to Tibet by the French painter Lafugie at the NCFA in the MNH, June 7-29, 1948. The exhibit, under patronage of His Excellency Henri Bonnet, Ambassador to the US, included 76 oils and 85 framed and unframed watercolors. This general view shows works hanging in four alcoves, background, and watercolors in two large glass topped floor cases, foreground.
