George Washington Bicentennial Exhibition of commemorative paintings and sculpture at the National Gallery of Art, now the National Museum of American Art, in the Natural History Building, March 26, 1932 - November 24,1932. View from the upper level highlights heroic-sized murals on Washington's life installed for the event on the building's upper level structure above the art Galleries. Sculpture in the exhibition is visible looking down into the roofless Gallery below, and the permanent collection fills the galleries to the right.
