Summary

"The Preservation of Abu Simbel," exhibition at the National Collection of Fine Arts, now the National Museum of American Art, in the Foyer Gallery of the Natural History Building, September 11 - October 10, 1965. The exhibition contains photographs and artifacts from when the temple was moved to higher ground to save if from destruction when the Aswan High Dam was constructed. This photograph is a general view of the exhibit with a model of the temple in front of the exhibit introduction.
