Summary

An old type mold of type setting, punches and matrices used for Robert Cranjon's "Ascendonica Romaine," 1569, with type newly cast from the matrice and proof. In the exhibition "Treasures from the Plantin-Moretus Museum," of early printing materials from Antwerp, Belgium, sponsored by the Belgian Embassy. The exhibit was circulated to museums and libraries by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service during the summer of 1965.
