The Water Transportation Hall, also known as "Boat Hall," located in the Northeast Range of the U.S. National Museum, now the Arts and Industries Building. Canoes are hung from the ceiling. Models of boats can be seen exhibited along the wall. Haida canoes can be seen at the bottom right. The exhibit was on view from 1881 when the building opened through the late 1960s.
