This statue of St. Dunstan was donated to the Smithsonian Institution in 1980 by Westminster Abbey, and restored and reconstructed by sculptor Constantine Seferlis. The photograph is taken in Seferlis' studio; he and James M. Goode, Keeper of the Castle Collection, are standing on either side of the statue. The statue was placed in the niche on the South East side of the South Tower of the Smithsonian Institution Building.
