Summary

Woodcut engraving of the North Central Towers of the Smithsonian Institution Building, or "Castle," set in an oval. Foliage is on either side of the towers. A carriage is entering the carriage porch at the entrance, nineteenth century view. The engraving was published in the Smithsonian Guidebook of 1857.
