Photocopy of page 3 of 3 of James Smithson's original (final) handwritten will. Smithson signed and sealed his will on October 23, 1826. It was received by the probate office in England on November 4, 1829. The will of James Smithson is located at the National Archives, Kew, Richmond, Surrey under the reference PROB 10/5127.
