Summary

Radio Smithsonian, a weekly half-hour magazine-format radio program, is inaugurated and is carried on local radio stations in the Washington, D.C., area and educational radio stations around the country and overseas. Production supervision is assigned to the Office of Public Affairs during the period 1969-1975. In FY 1976, the production unit will be transferred to the Office of Telecommunications.
