Chief Alfred C. Clark, who is retiring from the Navy after 20 years, is assigned to the Silver Hill warehousing facility and is applying his technical expertise in the moving and warehousing effort. This was part of the Buildings Management Department's (BMD) support of the effort to assist Viet Nam veterans in their transition from military to civilian life by participating in a program in which a veteran with six months or less to serve on his enlistment is brought into BMD and serves within his skill or trade until he is discharged from the military.
