Summary

At the Freer Gallery of Art, investigators Roy S. Clarke, Jr., Associate Curator, Mineral Sciences, Meteorites,(1967-1972), William T. Chase, and Rutherford J. Gettens examine ancient Chinese axe blades. They determined that two ancient Chinese axes in the Freer collection were made from iron meteorites.
