Summary

Edith Dietze, volunteer Elba Olson, Cathy Valentour and volunteer Ann Tschingas (l-r) work on the 6 x 9 foot polychrome floor mosaic from a first century Carthaginian temple that is a part of the National Museum of History and Technology, now the National Museum of American History, collection. The mosaic was severely damaged during moving. The restoration began in June of1976, and took more than 16 months to complete.
