Summary

At the National Portrait Gallery's exhibit "Abroad in America: Visitors to a New Nation, 1776-1914," Dr. and Mrs. Hiroshi Nakahama reading the text of John Manjiro. Manjiro was a Japanese fisherman who was rescued from the sea in 1841 and brought to America. Dr. Nakahama is the great, great grandson of Manjiro.
