Summary

Henry Bascom Collins, Jr., (1899-1987) was an archeologist specializing in Eskimo prehistory. He worked at the Division of Ethnology of the United States National Museum from 1923 to 1938, Bureau of American Ethnology from 1939 to 1965, and the Department of Anthropology of the National Museum of Natural History from 1966 to 1987. Here he looks at animal skeletal material in his office in the National Museum of Natural History.
