Summary

A. Remington Kellogg, curator of marine mammals, becomes the Acting Director of the newly created Museum of Natural History. In 1958 Albert C. Smith is appointed Director, succeeded by Frank A. Taylor in 1962, and Richard Sumner Cowan in 1966.
