Summary

The United States National Museum is split into two administrative subdivisions: the Museum of History and Technology [departments of Science and Technology, Arts and Industries, Civil History, and Armed Forces History] and the Museum of Natural History [departments of anthropology, zoology, botany, geology]. Under this new organizational setup, the old department of engineering and industries, and the department of history are abolished.
