Summary

A new class of appointments, Fellows of the Smithsonian Institution, is established to recognize the aid and encouragement of outstanding collaborators and benefactors. The first Fellow to be named is Mrs. Arthur M. Greenwood, of Marlboro, Massachusetts, who has made generous contributions to the collections of American colonial material, including an entire seventeenth-century house.
