The United States National Museum's, now the National Museum of Natural History, south entrance. This is the side of the museum facing the Mall and is the main entrance to the museum. Two men are standing by the columns at the top of the stairs.

This print is reproduced in USNM Bulletin 80, Plate 5, following page 24. The originals are also in RU79, B9, F1, and are crisper copies although it appears to have been retouched. There are many other photographs of the National Museum of Natural History in this location, as well as throughout RU79, Box 9.
