A narrow section, done in wood, of the of south front of new National Museum building, the Natural History Building, erected by the superintendent of construction. It was erected in actual dimensions in order to determine if the lines and proportions as shown on the plans were entirely satisfactory or subject to improvement. The section is supported by wood scaffolding. The Old Post Office is in the background on the left. December 1904.
