Summary

The Board of Regents adopt a resolution to thank companies which have granted free transportation of freight to the Institution: the Mexican Gulf, Pacific Mail, South American Mail, and United States Mail Steamship Companies, and by the Panama Railroad Company. (Over the years, the list of companies offering free transportation will grow considerably larger.)
