Summary

Section 306 (b) of this Act states that section 18 of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 is amended by adding that any Federal employee in the Canal Zone "shall have basic compensation fixed or adjusted at a wage rate which is not less than the appropriate wage rate provided" in section 6(b), and "shall have his overtime compensation set at an hourly rate not less than the overtime rate provided for in section 7 (a) (1) of this Act."
