Summary

The Secretary of the Army is authorized to furnish to the National Museum, for exhibition, such articles of arms, materiel, equipment, or clothing as have been issued from time to time to the United States Army and which are objects of general interest or of foreign or curious research. Section 205 (a) of this act changed the name of the Department of War to the Department of the Army and the title of the Secretary of War was changed to the Secretary of the Army. Section 205 (a) of the Act of July 26, 1947, was repealed by section 53 of the Act of Aug. 10, 1956, c. 1041, 70A Stat. 641.
