PrintThe sum of $669,300 is appropriated for expenses of the National Zoological Park including: erecting and repairing buildings; care and improvement of grounds; travel, including travel for the procurement of live specimens; purchase, care, and transportation of specimens; purchase of motorcycles and passenger motor vehicles; revolvers and ammunition; and purchase of uniforms and equipment for police and uniforms for keepers. Any unexpended balance shall be returned to this appropriation not later than two full fiscal years after the close of the current fiscal year.
