PrintThe Federal Employees Salary Increase Act of 1955 is set forth. Parts of laws and parts of reorganization plans which are repealed include that part of the paragraph under the heading "Smithsonian Institution" contained in title II of the Department of the Interior and Related Agencies Appropriation Act, 1956 (Public Law 78, 84th Congress,) which reads: "...Smithsonian Institution is authorized without regard to section 505 of the Classification Act of 1949, to place two positions in GS-18, two positions in GS-17, and one additional position in GS-16 of the General Schedule...."
