Summary

The sum of $625,000 is appropriated for expenses necessary for the National Zoological Park including; erecting and repairing buildings; care and improvement of grounds; travel; purchase, care, and transportation of specimens; purchase of motorcycles and passenger motor vehicles; revolvers and ammunition; and purchase of uniforms and equipment for police and uniforms for keepers. A capital outlay of $35,000 is provided for the installation of a stem line from the central heating plant to the birdhouse.
