PrintThis Act may be cited as the "Army Organization Act of 1950." Provisions are set forth regarding: powers and duties of the Secretary of the Army; Chief of Staff and the Army staff; organization of the Army; and repeals, amendments, and saving provisions. Under sec. 402, amendments--transfers of duties and powers, sec. (b) states: The first provisio on page 111 of volume 23, chapter 217, of the Statutes at Large, being a part of the Army Appropriation Act of July 5, 1892 (10 U.S.C. 1335). Hereafter such powers and duties shall be vested in and performed by whatever branch, office, or officers of the Army the Secretary of the Army may from time to time designate.
