PrintThe sum of $393,400 is appropriated for the expenses of the National Zoological Park, including: personal services; erecting and repairing buildings; improvement of grounds; travel; purchase and transportation of specimens; purchase of one passenger-carrying vehicle; maintenance and operation of passenger-carrying vehicles; purchase of bicycles and motorcycles; revolvers and ammunition; purchase of uniforms and equipment for police and uniforms for keepers; books and periodicals; and printing and binding. No part of this sum shall be available for architect's fees or compensation.
