An Act Making appropriations for the government of the District of Columbia and other activities chargeable in whole or in part against the revenues of such District for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1925, and for other purposes.

Summary

The sum of $75,000 is provided to enable the Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway Commission to continue the acquisition of lands for a connecting parkway between Potomac Park, the Zoological Park, and Rock Creek Park. The sum of $148,237 is appropriated for the National Zoological Park for: roads, walks, bridges, water supply, sewerage, and drainage; improving the grounds; erecting and repairing buildings; care and transportation of animals; necessary employees; and driving of horses and vehicles required for official purposes. The sum of $3,250 is provided for laying in the National Zoological Park one thousand five hundred and fifty feet of six-inch water main and installing two fire hydrants.
