PrintThe sum of $75,000 is provided to enable the Rock Creek and Potomac Parkway Commission to continue the acquisition of lands for a connecting parkway between Potomac Park, the Zoological Park, and Rock Creek Park. The sum of $148,237 is appropriated for the National Zoological Park for: roads, walks, bridges, water supply, sewerage, and drainage; improving the grounds; erecting and repairing buildings; care and transportation of animals; necessary employees; and driving of horses and vehicles required for official purposes. The sum of $3,250 is provided for laying in the National Zoological Park one thousand five hundred and fifty feet of six-inch water main and installing two fire hydrants.
